Ephesians 4 Network Prayer Direction

A word from Pastor Twila Wilczynski, Ephesians 4 Prayer Director;

It is my desire to see people grow in their relationship with the Lord. It is His presence and only His presence that will make the difference in our lives.  Without this intimate relationship, we are no different than anybody else in the world.

I desire to see the prayer paradigm shift from just being request focused to being relationship focused.  "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ NASB)

Bishop Brad Reynolds said, "we must have new wine skins!"

What we did in the past is not going to work for us in this new day!

So with all that being said, I would like to encourage you toward this cause. I want to encourage you to be motivated and pro-active in your relationship with the Lord. As you talk to Him, give Him room to talk to you -- and ask Him to let you see from His perspective what your assignments and responsibilities are.

Where the Lord wants to take us, we've never been before and He is calling us to set ourselves apart from the busyness of life and set ourselves apart for Him. As we do that, the Lord will do wonders among us, He will exalt us in the sight of our families, relatives, friends, churches and even our communities.  Not to show who we are in our own right, but to show God's goodness, kindness, love and mercy.

I believe we are in a critical time where if we will respond to God properly, then we will see a great demonstration of God right in our midst. God wants to attract people to the kingdom and one of the ways He will do that is by doing signs, wonders, and miracles among us.

A scriptural focus for us can be found in Joshua 3:5-7:

Then Joshua said to the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you." And Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over ahead of the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went ahead of the people. Now the LORD said to Joshua, "This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you. (‭Joshua‬ ‭3‬:‭5-7‬ NASB)

We know that the Ark of the Covenant represents the presence of God. We must carry His presence upon our lives and then He will be able to do wonders among us and even through us so that God Himself will be attractive to people.

Some of us have really gotten too busy and are trying to follow the same way we know or have been taught to go. We really haven't taken the time (or have gotten away from it) to seek God's face, to seek His presence, and to allow Him to lead us. Because of that, we are tired and weary -- and have not been effective in bringing forth God's plans and purposes.

Leaders, don't forge, everything begins with leadership. We must be the proper example to our people in our relationship with the Lord and in our prayer life. Our greatest responsibility and challenge is to help our people to really seek God and to find His plans and purposes for their life.  As we know, if we want to see change happen, it must start with leadership. It starts at the top; we must be willing to commit ourselves first and foremost to the Lord, then the people will follow us.

As we strive to enter His rest and listen from that place, then His plans and purposes will unfold in our lives and in our ministries!

During this time of ministering to the Lord we need to allow Him:

1.) To examine us and ask for His cleansing.

2.) We need to ask for fresh vision and ask Him to set our priorities in order.

3.) We need to allow Him to cut things out of our lives that interfere with the call He has placed on our lives.

4.) We need to sanctify ourselves (set ourselves apart for him) and ask Him to purify us.

Scripture: 2 Chronicles 29:5-15, "Then he said to them, "Listen to me, O Levites. Consecrate yourselves now, and consecrate the house of the LORD, the God of your fathers, and carry the uncleanness out from the holy place.  ... My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to minister to Him, and to be His ministers and burn incense." ... They assembled their brothers, consecrated themselves, ...  went in to the inner part of the house of the LORD to cleanse it, and every unclean thing which they found in the temple of the LORD they brought out...

Some of us are so busy about many things and don't take the time we need to sit at the feet of Jesus. We're doing many things that our Father did not ask us to do. As a result, we aren't seeing the results that we should be seeing in our ministries. Even some of our very own expectations aren't in line with God's agenda!!

So how do we get back to where we need to be. How do we bear good fruit?

Let's let the Bible answer that question!

Jesus said, ...but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her." (‭Luke‬ ‭10‬:‭42‬ NASB)

He also said ... Abide in Me, ... You cannot bear fruit unless you abide in Me. ... If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Our prayer ministry goals:

1.  To encourage everyone in their ministry to the Lord. To lay their life before Him, in order to be refreshed, restored, and re-envisioned.

2.  Establish a conference-wide prayer community
-- Each church/ministry to establish a working relationship within the E4N Prayer Network.
-- Have a viable team working together in prayer.
-- Covering the entire E4N Conference/Pastors/Ministers covered in daily prayer.

3.  To build a list of all of our E4N Churches prayer ministries and leaders here on this website.

4.  To establish working relationships between all of our E4N Church pastors, prayer leaders and the prayer director
